About Echo Ray Studio
Echo Ray Studio is operated by Tuck Nelson and Fergal McBride who are both lifelong musicians. Tuck has been recording bands for 20+ years and has worked at a variety of London studios before opening Echo Ray in late 2020 with Fergal. When not working in the studio Tuck can be found doing front of house sound for a number of internationally touring acts.
As a musician and DJ Fergal is very much a part of the vintage soul and funk scene, playing in several bands with releases on Funk Night Records in Detroit. He has been recording and producing for his own bands for many years before taking the leap to found Echo Ray with Tuck.
As the in-house team they specialise in recording or producing bands, singers and songwriters, as well as mixing. The Studio is equipped with a variety of new and vintage analog gear, digital and analog recorders and lots of usual and unusual instruments.
